The “Circular Economy” course organised by GreenU Social Enterprise has now officially come to a close, leaving a deep impression on its participants. The course not only provided theoretical knowledge but also inspired action – from changing individual mindsets to developing sustainable business models.

♻️ FROM A LINEAR ECONOMY TO A CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Participants explored the difference between:

The traditional linear economy (produce – consume – dispose)
and
The circular economy (designed for reuse – extending product lifespan – recycling – minimising waste)

🌱 The core principles were discussed in depth, including:

Designing products to be easily recycled
Extending the product lifespan
Reusing and recycling materials
Minimising waste as much as possible from the design stage

From sustainable production to circular construction
From rental and repair service models rather than product ownership
To strategies for designing products that can be recycled or reused
