About the role

GreenU is looking for a passionate Project Coordination Assistant to join our large-scale plastic waste reduction campaigns in 2026 — including the Coke Reborn 2026 project — alongside source-segregation training activities and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the recycling waste collection network: support the supervision, management and maintenance of 9 manual collection points and 2 automated collection machines (Botol) in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
• Coordinate events & training: support logistics and organize 10 source-segregation training sessions (targeting 400 participants) and community communication campaigns (targeting a reach of 1,000 people).
• Support the Waste Management – Circular Economy programme: be ready to help coordinate collection-bin design activities and roll out waste segregation programmes at schools under other cooperation projects when mobilized.
• Build the partner network: work with and maintain regular contact with the Women's Union, the Fatherland Front Committee, apartment building management boards, and partners such as Tagom and VECA.
• Manage the recycling chain: track monthly collection progress and coordinate with transport units to deliver collected materials to the designated recycling plants.
• Manage data & reporting: continuously update collection figures, compile documentation and activity photos, and support the preparation of periodic and final reports for partners.

Requirements

• Experience in project coordination, event organization, or as a volunteer/collaborator for sustainable development or environmental projects — especially those working with schools and residential communities.
• Strong, tactful and transparent communication skills when working with diverse stakeholders: local residents, Women's Union officers, school leadership boards, and organization representatives.
• Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects at once.
• Careful and transparent with data; willing to travel to field collection sites; a strong interest in the circular economy and environmental protection, with a green lifestyle.
