Businesses, Communities and Consumers Pioneering Responsibility to Reduce Plastic Waste in Vietnam (P3CR)

The P3CR project addresses plastic packaging waste management in Vietnam by promoting the development of an effective Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system built on real-world pilot models. In doing so, the project focuses on supporting the informal workforce — independent waste pickers, scrap traders, and junk-buying depots in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City — to strengthen their collection capacity and participation in the recycling value chain.
