Project summary

The project aims to address sourcing practices in the high-value plastic recycling chain by promoting fair remuneration, ethical labor, and labor rights across the dimensions of economic empowerment, health and safety, inclusive autonomy, collective representation, and gender equality. In doing so, the project provides direct support to improve the lives and capacity of informal waste workers (IWWs) and the scrap collection units supplying materials in northern Vietnam.
