Advancing Gender Equality through Improved Economic Performance in Agricultural Production and Tourism Development (WEL – Lao Cai and Son La – Phase 2)

The project supports women-led small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, and household businesses — particularly those led by ethnic minority women — operating in agriculture and community-based tourism in the two provinces of Lao Cai and Son La. Through leadership development, market access, and the adoption of inclusive business models, the project addresses economic and capacity barriers to help them increase incomes, create employment opportunities, and strengthen their decision-making power in business.
