🌿 Plastic Waste Training for Lien Mac Students: Inspiring Effective Waste Recycling 🌿

Environmental education from an early age – Sowing the seeds of green-living awareness for the next generation

🌟 On 8 September 2022, GreenU co-organised a training session on plastic waste and effective recycling for students as part of the event Inauguration and Handover of the Recycling Playground in Lien Mac Ward.

🌱 There, the children:
🔹 Received guidance on plastic waste and its impact on the environment
🔹 Took part in creative recycling activities, such as:
— Decorating plant pots made from discarded plastic items
— Colouring environmentally friendly “papier-mâché figures”

🌟 The Recycling Playground in Lien Mac is not only a healthy space for physical activity but also the first touchpoint for the children to form recycling habits, environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility to the community from an early age.

💚 GreenU hopes that this model of a playground combined with environmental education will continue to be replicated, spreading a green way of life to even more localities and schools.
