🌿 Share Green Training Course: Spreading Knowledge and Action on Plastic Waste
18/08 | Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, Hanoi
♻️ Let us act together for a school environment free of plastic waste!
On 18 August, GreenU (Green Development Support Company Limited) organised the Share Green training course for teachers at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, with the aim of raising awareness and strengthening teaching capacity on the topic of plastic waste pollution.
📚 The training session was led by trainer Nguyen Thu Ha – an environmental expert with many years of experience implementing educational programmes and projects on plastic waste reduction.
💬 From her insightful reflections on the alarming reality:
“90% of sea salt contains microplastic particles.”
“On average, a person swallows 50,000 microplastic particles each year.”
“A bag of rubbish thrown far away from our home does not mean it will disappear.”
Teachers gained a clearer understanding of the dangers of plastic waste and the importance of action beginning with school education.
🎯 Lively activities – Memorable knowledge – Powerful outreach:
🧠 The Quick as Lightning game with “red-alert” questions
🖍️ Drawing pictures and playing environmental bingo
👥 Group work to develop creative teaching content
🌱 After the training course, the teachers were all eager to plan the integration of environmental protection content into their lessons, in order to inspire and educate the next generation of students – the “green sprouts” who will shape the future of our planet.
💚 GreenU believes that “Education is the root of change”, and that each teacher is a “green nucleus” helping to spread lasting awareness throughout the community.
