📚 GREEN EDUCATION – GREEN ACTION – FOR A GREEN FUTURE
On 3 August, the teachers of Trang An Primary School came together to take part in a thematic training session on “Waste Issues and the Integration of Environmental Education into Teaching”, organised by GreenU – Green Development Support Company Limited.
📌 The training session was divided into two engaging parts:
🟢 Wake up Green – for pupils: Sparking interest and curiosity, and awakening environmental awareness from an early age.
🟢 Share Green – for teachers: Providing the knowledge, tools and skills to integrate environmental topics into the teaching curriculum.
💬 PLASTIC – AN ISSUE THAT IS NO LONGER UNFAMILIAR
During the session, GreenU experts offered concrete perspectives on:
- The harmful effects of plastic on health and the environment
- How to use plastic safely in everyday life
- Sustainable living and green actions that are easy to apply in schools
🎮 CREATIVE HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES – LEARNING THROUGH EXPERIENCE
👟 The “Running Waste” game provided a playground that was both fun and meaningful, helping teachers gain a deeper understanding of the importance of sorting waste at source.
📖 In addition, the teachers shared with one another how to integrate environmental content into their lessons in a natural and effective way that suits the mindset of primary school pupils.
✨ GreenU hopes that, from this training session, each teacher will become a “green seed”, helping to inspire and build a generation of pupils with awareness, with love, and with responsibility for the environment.
