🌟 Workshop "Proper Hearing Care & Sound Environment Consultation for SIB HUB Members" 🌟
Spreading awareness – Proactively protecting hearing health and the living environment
🧏♂️ DID YOU KNOW?
- According to the WHO, 466 million people worldwide currently suffer from hearing loss, including 34 million children
- It is forecast that by 2050, one in ten people worldwide will be affected by hearing impairment
- Every hour, as many as 800 deaths occur due to air pollution
- By 2035, Vietnam may record up to 100,000 deaths per year due to environmental pollution
✨ These figures, which may seem distant, were brought closer by Ms. Thanh Huong (SHE+) and Ms. Ha Huong (Pam Air) through a special workshop held on 11 November 2022 for the business community at SIB Hub.
💡 Here, the members:
🔹 Received communication and shared knowledge on noise pollution and air quality
🔹 Gained a correct and thorough understanding of the impacts of the environment on hearing health
🔹 Received a free hearing test from the professional team at SHE+, thereby raising awareness of how to protect and care for the ears and hearing in the right way
🌿 The event not only spread useful information but also helped build a community that lives healthily – lives green – lives proactively on the journey toward sustainable development.
