GreenU at the ASEAN Regional Dialogue on Circular Economy 2026

GreenU joined Session 6, “Behavioral Change, Innovation and Market Transformation: From Circular Solutions to Systems Change,” at the ASEAN Regional Dialogue on Circular Economy (ARDCE), held on 22–23 September 2026 in Makati City under the Philippines’ 2026 ASEAN Chairship.
Alongside the Philippines’ Department of Science and Technology (DOST), UNDP Regional and fellow panelists, the session examined how circular technologies, business models and enabling ecosystems can move from early adoption towards wider diffusion and systemic impact, drawing on real-world business examples, behavioral perspectives, and the market, policy and industrial conditions needed to accelerate the uptake of sustainable solutions.
GreenU shared its experience connecting government, businesses, communities, recyclers and informal waste workers, and building the partnerships and local capabilities that help circular initiatives move beyond individual projects. Drawing on the Responsible Sourcing Initiative in Vietnam’s PET recycling value chain, GreenU highlighted how ecosystem-building — not technology alone — determines whether a circular solution can scale.
The dialogue also brought together partners and colleagues from across the region, offering a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect on the region’s shared progress toward a circular ASEAN.
GreenU thanks UNDP Philippines for the invitation and for creating a valuable space for regional learning and collaboration.
