🌱 SPRING CAMP – EXPLORING SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
“Returning to the land – Listening to nature – Learning from practice”
To kick off 2024, GreenU chose sustainable agriculture as the opening theme for a meaningful series of sharing programs, starting with Spring Camp – a journey of learning and connection at Thien Luong Traditional Medicine Forest Garden (11 – 12/01/2024).
🌿 Accompanying expert: Duong Tran Anh Tuan – with more than 8 years of in-depth experience in the field of sustainable agriculture, brought a profound, practical and approachable perspective on farming in harmony with nature, responsible toward the ecosystem and the community.

Continuing our journey of accompanying the young generation who love the environment, GreenU was honored to take part in the first training session of the Youth Ambassadors for the Environment program, organized by the Vietnam Stature Foundation.
🌱 Main theme: White pollution & Plastic waste
In an open yet highly responsible atmosphere, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha explored in depth with the Ambassadors:
🔹 The concept of “white pollution” – the silent danger of plastic waste
🔹 Distinguishing common types of plastic and their life cycles
🔹 Effective plastic waste reduction models within the community
🔹 The role of youth in spreading green action
🛠️ CREATIVE PRACTICE – FROM PLASTIC WASTE TO PLANT POTS
Beyond knowledge, the training session was also an occasion for participants to “turn waste into resources” through an activity reusing used plastic to create handmade plant pots – both charming and inspiring green action within the community.

📍 The 2nd sharing program in GreenU’s Sustainable Agriculture training series
Following the success of Spring Camp 2024 at Thien Luong Traditional Medicine Forest Garden, GreenU continued its journey of accompanying the community interested in sustainable agriculture through the second sharing session in the series of 4 programs in 2024.
🌱 Spring Session was not merely a training session – but an opportunity for participants to:
🔹 Look back at the overall picture of current agriculture
🔹 Clearly understand the core principles of sustainable agriculture
🔹 Approach the Permaculture and Agroecology farming methods popular around the world
🔹 Orient the application of a suitable model within each person’s local conditions
🌍 EXPERIENCE – PRACTICE – APPLICATION
The course was flexibly designed, interweaving foundational knowledge with group discussion activities and situation simulations, helping learners approach practice more easily, and is especially suitable for:
✅ Small-scale farmers
✅ Green startups
✅ Community organizations/groups aiming for a self-sufficient model
✅ Those interested in soil restoration, conservation of local varieties, and harmony between people and nature
GreenU believes that sustainable agriculture is not only a way of producing – but a philosophy of sustainable living, in harmony with nature and respectful of local culture. The journey is still long – but each sharing session like Spring Session will be an important catalyst for positive changes from the roots.

SIB Hub HeartFest 2024 was a space full of positive energy, where social impact businesses (SIBs) gathered with a diverse range of responsible – creative – sustainable products and services.
🌿 A market not only to buy – but to connect and inspire!
Here, participants were able to:
🔹 Explore & shop at nearly 40 unique booths with environmentally friendly products, delicately handcrafted and rich in community character
🔹 Experience engaging activities:
- Kahoot mini game & “Heart-Connection Passport” – connecting with and understanding social values
- Workshop space – where creativity is sparked through recycling and handicraft
- Green living corner: Swap old items for new ones – extending the life cycle of used items
- … and a series of fun – green – meaningful interactive activities
